Surname: Custer, McIntosh, Harmar

Somerset Co. - PA: Custer family. I am researching the line of Custer mentioned
in Elk Lick Twp. - Somerset Co. PA. This Custer had a daughter, Charlotte,
b. 4 Mar. 1798
Baptized - Elk Lick Twp. - PA - St. John's Parish Register, May 13, 1789
to Nov. 4, 1801, St. John's Parish Register - Elk Lick Twp. Charlotte Custer,
b. 4 Mar. 1798, baptized 2 Oct. 1798, Elk Lick Township.Emanuel and Mary
(Fedele) Custer.

Charlotte doesn't match the 1796 Custer accredited to Nicholas Custer.
Date of birth is off by two years.

I have also found an Emanuel Custer, 1798 in VA, owner of slaves.
Tax Roll - VA - Frederick Co. - Sandy Creek & Glades District, 1798; Emanuel
Custer lived in the Sandy Creek and Glades district, five slaves,--total
valuation l38 pounds, - four horses, 7 cattle, etc.
Tax Roll - VA - Frederick Co. - Sandy Creek & Glades District, 1798; Emanuel
Custer lived in the Sandy Creek and Glades district, five slaves, 62 pounds.

Have also found an Emanuel Custen/Custer? 1820 Federal Census, Stoneboro,
Sandy Lake Twp., Mercer Co., PA. Custer's at Stoneboro today are my line.
I also think Emanuel, 1779-c1829 are of the same line. Seeking proof.

Do these VA Custer's, apparently of the line of Paul Custer, match the
Custer family at Elk Lick Twp., Somerset Co., PA? If so, are John & George
Custer that served in Muster Roll of Ft. McIntosh, also connecting with
Camp Copeland Custer's coming from the line of Paul Custer, connected to
the Emanuel Custer, Elk Lick, Somerset Co., PA?

Both Emanuel & George Custer (received 100 acres of land from Land office
for 3 years service)Ft. McIntosh. A George and John received land at Steubenville
office.

John Custer settled in Harrison Co., OH. General Harmar was sent to evict
John Custer and another 20-23 families for settling illegally in OH. This
John settled in OH Co., W VA.
I think he received land c1798?
