One correction, the current borough that's adjacent to Franklin is East
Conemaugh.
In the last half of the 1800's, there was Conemaugh Boro, adjacent to
downtown Johnstown, and further upstream, East Conemaugh Boro (incorporated
late 1850's). After Conemaugh Boro was annexed to the city of Johnstown, it
was referred to as "Old" Conemaugh Boro. East Conemaugh Boro is home to the
Conemaugh Post Office, which also cover parts of East Taylor Twp.
