Today I thought of my friends and family in Somerset more than ever. While
I
was watching the terrible acts of terrorism on TV happening in New York and
DC, a flash came across my TV screen about a plane crash in Somerst County.
I couldn't believe my eyes......I kept watching for it again to make sure
what my eyes had really seen. Unfortunately it was all too true.
Talk about about instant nausea.......I hadn't heard any details yet, and
immediately thought the worst of my family........my hometown.....in a state
of emergency.
When details did finally emerge, I got down on my hands and knees and
thanked
God.............thanked him for sparing the lives of those we all love in
Somerset County........and thanked God again that the acts of terrorism that
were carried out among us were not of a chemical warfare nature.
My heart goes out to each and every victum and their families. May God help
us all in our hour of greatest need.
Now my concern is our actions.........and my feeling is best expressed in
the
words of a former President. "In any moment of decision, the best thing you
can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing." Theodore
Roosevelt
Sincerely, Lois D., Canfield, Ohio
