Recently I found the will of George Hoover in Westmoreland Co. I believe he
could be the same George Hoover b. 1801 married to Mary "'Polly" Judy who
lived in Brothersvalley Twp., Somerset Co.

In his will his wife is not mentioned, which probably means she died by 12
June 1886 when the will was written. There was a provision in the will for
the following children:
Chauncey
George
Francis
John married to Lucy A. and their children Ida, Susan, Jennie, Sarah, Ellen,
Albert, and Harvey.
Rebecca married to Christian Myers
Catherine married to Rudolph Cupp
Magdalena married to Zachariah Christner
Jennie married to L. P. Shale (May be Samuel P. Shale from census)

There was also a provision for Eliza Walter, formerly Eliza Jude. Could
she be Eliza Judy and be the sister or other relative of Mary "Polly" Judy?
