That's EXACTLY what my Native American relatives have
been saying for a long time! High time all of these
immigrants (AND their descendants) go back to "the old
country" where they belong!

But, my immigrant ancestors wanted to come to North
America for the freedom and opportunities that were
available here and not back in the old country. That
is still the reason that draws immigrants here.

I really doubt if many "immigrants" are the true cause
of our current problems. We need to remember where WE
came from and what it was like for OUR immigrant
ancestors when they first arrived and have a little
more compassion and understanding.

Sorry for the soapbox, but genealogy is about finding
our roots - and not just names, years, and places.
Our ancestors were all real people and the immigrant
experience was theirs, too.
