Cathy, Here are a few sources for you to check.
Descendants of Jacob Hochstetler #3 should be your starting point for
descendants and his parents John Hochstetler and Catherine Hertzler.
She is the daughter of John Miller and likely Magdalena.

History, Oct. 1998, pp. 174-175.

Miller, Sr. (ca. 1730-1798)" p. 29+
Barbara's parents may have been living in Upper Tilpehocken Twonship on
uncleared land that they were preparing for farming at her birth.
1785 Barbara and Jacob took out a warrant for land near Myersdale
(168 1/4 A) on a hill just south of Meyersdale. [PA Archives, tax records.]
-warrant for "Deer Pasture." 1811 (113 A) to the south of previous tract.
Said to have been buried on their farm.
May 17, 1813 sold two farms to son John.
Appears on tax list of Brothers Valley Twp, Somerset Co., PA in 1779.

They lived south of Meyersdale in Summit Twp.
