As I was browsing the newspaper this week I learned there is a much cheaper way to mail genealogical information Just ask for the "Media Mail" rate. You cannot place a note, letter or any other material in the package but the rate is worth it.
The media rate applies to books, film, manuscripts, sound recordings, videotapes and computer media that includes compact discs, digital video discs and diskettes.
Wish I had known that years ago--could have saved some money.
