My friend was in Berlin for the Walker Family reunion about 2 or 3 years ago and
she and her aunt visited Jacob's gravesite and she said the gravemarker is
there. It is not original one but a replacement paid by the Walker Family
descendants. The Walker Family reunion is held at regular intervals in Berlin or
nearby towns.

My friend has data on more than 15,000 descendants of Jacob Walker.

Hi, In response to the question about Lt. Jacob Walker (1745-1783). The name
of the Newton Saylor Cemetery is given in the list of cemeteries in the
Somerset Co. USGenweb site, but with no data given.

In the W.P.A. cemetery readings of the 1930s, this cemetery is not among
those that were read.

Best wishes,
Oora Flaningam

Does anyone have access to Newton Saylor Cemetery (Brothersvalley Twp)
records? I'm wondering if anyone can verify the burial of Lt. Jacob
Walker (1745-1783) there. Is there a tombstone?
