Shetler.-Christian Shetler of Elton, Pa., was born Jan. 27, 1838; died while sitting in a chair, Apr. 15, 1914; aged 76 y. 2 m. 19 d. He leaves to mourn his departure his widow and three children - Mary, wife of David Stull, Amanda and Noah Shetler. He was a brother of Jacob and Abram Shetler of near Davidsville and Lewis Shetler of Lancaster Co. Funeral services were conducted at the Pleasant Grove Mennonite Church by L.A. Blough, Alex. Weaver, and D.S. Yoder. Text Psa. 90:12.
