Bertha, I have the address of a descendant of Henry Andrew Jackson
Sorrells, b. Feb. 1839, Missouri, d. abt 1920, Love Co. Okla. He came
to Ok abt 1860, and Married Elva Paralee Moody on 18 March 1874, Cooke
Co. Tx. {This is what the letter says. David Bennett, 2124 Grape Court,
Okla-City, OK73129. This correspondence came in 1986). His wife was b.
1851, TX and she died abt 1918 In Love Co, OK. He says Henry's first
wife was 1/2 Chocktaw, 1/2 white. It is not clear which wife Elva was,
but only her name was given. All the children of Henry and Elva, 10 of
them were born in Leon, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. David
thought Lewis Sorrels of 1850 Crawford Co. AR. census was or might be
Henry's father, but Lewis would only have been 16 when Henry was born,
so could have been his brother. If you cannot find David Bennett at that
address now, let me know and I will send you copies of the letter and
the family group sheets he sent me. Thelma Prince
