Hi Gerda
Unfortunately 'Portrait of an Eastern Cape village' only deals with
homesteads in and around Bedford.
I wish I had more leads on BMD records from Glen Lynden. Maybe Vic will
change his course on cemetery recordings and concentrate on this area for
us?
Maybe another idea? If you go to http://www.familysearch.org/ and click on
the IGI section, type in a family member who you know was a church member of
Glen Lynden [Lyndon] maybe with a bit of luck you can obtain a Batch number.
Once you have this, you return to the IGI search section and only type in
the Batch Number. This will bring up all the records of that church if
listed. Hope this makes sense?
Ellen, if you are reading this will you help me out here? I might be getting
the process a bit muddled up.
Best wishes
Becky
