It gets complicated with the LLOYDS...there are three separate families of
them....I've found that this is not one of my Lloyds! It's rather like the
HART family...there we have my line descending from the Scot, Robert HART of
'Glen Avon' near Somerset East and then we have the Gardener HARTS descended
from Joseph HART who was a gardener....
Some time ago I became aware of a Rev. Adrian HART who is rector at Holy
Trinity Church, Westbury on Trym, near Bristol....I heard from his clerk
that he is a South African, one of seven children....not on my line so I was
wondering if he is a descendant of the Gardener HARTS ....it would have been
fun had it been one of 'my' HARTS as it would have been an extremely tenuous
link to my BROOKS ancestry (Ann and Elizabeth BROOKS married Richard TAINTON
an the Rev. John 'William' SHEPSTONE.).
