Subject: [ZA-EC] Researching ... a tribe of Hobson's A&B

I have decided to unsubscribe in a couple of days time, as I am in my last year of my Masters degree and my study guides arrive in a fortnight's time. I am just finding the task of reading all these great emails too distracting from the other things taking over my life. The temptations to go onto tangents is just too irresistable.
I am currently compiling a scrapbook of family heirlooms and writing stories about these items, so that future generations can appreciate them. Fortunately my parents are young enough to be able to remember wit reasonable clarity stories behind some of the items. I have however noticed that the stories behind some items have changed slightly over the years and this is rather distressing... so hence the urgency!
In addition to this I am trying to complete the Hobson family tree that I have been working on for a few years. I now have an extensive list of surnames that are connected to my HOBSON family and I am listing them below. Hopefully some of you will recognise some surnames and you will be able to add some of those ellusive Hobson women and their descendants who married and changed their surnames. So here goes...
