Not sure how many William COCKs you are referring to, but maybe this is of
some assistance?
Extracted from the Lower Albany Chronicles.

Marraiges
31 December 1848: William COCK junior had been married to Lucy NETHERTON of
Lewes.

27 June 1849: Cornelius COCK was married at Richmond House by the Reverend
John SMITH to Letitia, daughter of Assistant Commissary-general SMITH.
Witnesses were William COCK junior and John NELSON.

28 November 1855: Nathaniel, youngest son of William COCK, had been married
at Grahamstown by the Reverend John HEAVYSIDE to Mary, only daughter of the
late Walter BARBER.
