Thanks Norma, I appreciate the information as I didn't know if Port Alfred
was close to Port Elizabeth or not. I do need to get the maps! I've printed
out your e-mail so I can work the day trip in for sure.

Hi Ruth

If you have a hired car a must see trip is departing from Port Elizabeth to
Grahamstown, take the detour to Salem on the way. From Grahamstown travel
to Port Alfred via Bathurst and then return to Port Elizabeth.
It is a wonderful day trip and you can do a lot of "Settler expoloring" on
the way. Nearer the time you can get maps and places to go.
