I have some photos of the memorial for these victims. It is at the
Southend
Cemetery in PE. We took the photos during our holiday now in March to the
EC. It is not yet available on the eGGSA, the volunteers are still busy
labelling the stuff. But I am happy to forward it to anybody - should they
require a copy.
To the memory of the brave men who lost their lives whilst engaged in
rescue
work during the Great Gale which raged at this port on 1 Sept 1902
