Hi Listers,

On Saturday evening some very nice "&*%$%&*" hackers not only destroyed www.1820Settlers.com, but all the websites being hosted on that particular server, including www.tantrem.com and all of my mail server, my son's websites, and about 4 other business related websites. Amongst other things, they hooked in a PayPal phising site ( you enter your id and password, and it mails them the details - next thing you're broke!), and 'stormed' fake or spam emails out to all and sundry.

I am hoping that our ISP will be able to rebuild the server sometime today, and then we start the process of re-building the websites. Fortunately I do have backups of the databases, and hopefully I will be able to get www.1820Settlers.com up and running soon (with long awaited enhancements!).


My apologies for any inconveniences, and I hope none of you have been adversly affected by the hack.
