Hi all,

I have now also started searching for my husband's ancestors, and just
like Lyndene's g g grandparents, they arrived from Prussia on the
Peter Godeffroy and settled
in Keiskammahoek. They were Hans and Marie Bentz with two children,
Fredrich and Minna. I cannot find the "in between" generation,
as no-one seems to know the names. My husband's father was Ernst Ludwig
Wilhelm Bentz, born in that same area, died in Pietermaritzburg +- 1965.
He was married to Maria Magdalena nee de Waal.. Would be gratefrul if
anyone can help, there are a few of his family members that I could pass
the information on to . As far as I know, there is also a link to the
surname Putzier in their family.
