PHILLIPS, Henry Owen, about June 20, 1896, Salisbury District, last heard of at
Graham and White's Store.
POLLARD, Henry Hawken, about June 18, 1896, Mazoe District, Native Commissioner,
last heard of on June 14, at Tamaringa's Kraal.
RICHARDS, G., about June 20, 1896, Headlands District, Trader, murdered at Nedziwi's
Kraal; body found August 20, 1896.
ROUTLEDGE, T. G., about June 18, 1896, Mazoe District, Telegraphist, murdered
whilst returning from duty at the Telegraph Office; body found.
RUPING, Henry Herman, about June 24, 1896, Abercorn District, Acting Native
Commissioner, M'topo's, murdered by his police at M'lewa's Kraal.
SADDLER, Henry, about June 20, 1896, Salisbury District, Trader, left Salisbury for
Hunyani River on June 13.
SAGAR, Robert, about June 20, 1896, Abercorn District, Fitter, known to have been
with CROUCHLEY
SALTHOUSE, Elijah Thomas, about June 18, 1896, Mazoe District, Prospector, known
to have been with BURTON-they left Chipadza's Kraal June 17.
SAUNDERS, William, about June 20, 1896, Salisbury District, Transport Rider
SCHOOTER, Frederick, June 21, 1896, Lomogundi District, Homan's Storekeeper,
murdered at Native Commissioner's Camp, Lomogundi; body, supposed to be his,
found October 30
SHAPIRO, Reuben, about June 20, 1896, Abercorn District, believed to have been
murdered at Umlewa's Kraal.
SHELL, A., June 15, 1896, Hartley District, murdered at Mashangombi's Kraal.
SHORT, Henry, June 23, 1896, Charter District, Trader, believed to have been
murdered on Charter Road.
SMIT, Cornelius, June 20, 1896, Charter District, Farmer, murdered at Van der
Merwe's Farm.
SMITH, Arthur, about June 18, 1896, Salisbury District, believed to have been
murdered near Ballyhooley.
STATE, alias STEYTE, June, 1896, Lomogundi District
STEELE, James, June 21, 1896, Abercorn District, known to have been with AUSTIN
(see No. 4).
STEELE, William, June, 1896, Abercorn District, Carpenter; last heard of May 22.
STOPFORTH, Jan Martinus, June 20, 1896, Charter District, murdered at his farm,
ten miles from Enkeldoorn; body found.
