Hi Grace,

I had a look at NAAIRS (National Archives of South Africa) - there were many
walkers, but most much later than yours; came up with this -

*DEPOT*
TAB
*SOURCE*
MHG
*TYPE* LEER
*VOLUME_NO*0
*SYSTEM*
01
*REFERENCE*O/16596
*PART*
1
*DESCRIPTION* *WALKER, ALFRED*PRIME.
*STARTING*
18990000
*ENDING*
18990000
*REMARKS* NAGELATE EGGENOTE.

*DEPOT*
KAB
*SOURCE*
MOOC
*TYPE* LEER
*VOLUME_NO*13/1/3069
*SYSTEM*
01
*REFERENCE*75
*PART*
1
*DESCRIPTION* *WALKER, ARTHUR.* LIQUIDATION AND DISTRIBUTION
ACCOUNT. FIRST ACCOUNT.
*STARTING*
19180000
*ENDING*
19180000

It is hard to know whether these are yours, as there are so many Walkers;
it may be a good idea to have a look at the achives yourself - just google
'NAAIRS", then "Search", the "RSA" and put in the appropriate search words.
If you feel you have found something you will need a researcher to go to the
relevant archive for you in order to transcribe the document. I would be
able to give you the name of a Cape Town (KAB) researcher, and I am sure
someone on the list will be able to help with researchers in other areas.

Cheers,

Carol
