DIED of Apoplexy at his Residence (Norden's Buildings) on Friday Evening
last, the 8th instant, T.B. FIELDING Esq, (late a Captain of the 98th
Regiment) aged 53 years 3 months and 10 days; leaving a widow and 8 children
to mourn their irreparable loss.
Cape Town, Feb 11th 1850.

MARRIAGE at Bangalore on the 28th November by the Rev W. Lutgens, De Symons
BARROW Esq of the 14th Madras Native Infantry to Mary Elizabeth, daughter of
the late Dr. John HONEY of Caledon, Cape of Good Hope.

DIED at Port Elizabeth on the 24th instant, Mary Helen, the beloved wife of
Wm. PATTINSON, aged 32 years. Leaving a Husband and three Children to
deplore the loss of an affectionate and tender Mother, deeply regretted by
all who knew her.
Port Elizabeth, 25th January 1850.

DIED on the Morning of the 29th January 1850 at her Residence, "Craig
Cottage", aged 34 years, Helen McGregor SMITH, dearly beloved Wife of the
Rev. G.W. STEGMANN, deeply regretted.
