Hi Alison
Pine Avenue is off Crawford Street in North End, Port Elizabeth and I am not
sure why you think that this part was demolished? There are no flyovers in
this section. I stay in Port Elizabeth and the houses in this area are not
demolished and are actually still looking very much like they did in the
1930's. I recently went and took photos of a road that is quite near to
this part of the house where I was born and the houses are all still there.
I hope that this is the area that you are enquiring about. There are only 2
roads in PE named Pine, this one and one in Overbaakens (previously
Fairview).
