Hello Scott and Alison

I have James Baxter in my tree and his marriage to Laura Jessamine Timm was
on the 10th July 1900 in the Methodist Church, Clumber. I notice you have
his date of birth as 1886 which would mean he was just 16 when he married
Laura who was born 16 Aug 1875 probably in Clumber. Was it perhaps 1876?

Frederick William Baxter and Euphemia Lee had a son, Samuel Herbert, born 7
July 1865. I don't have the baptism date but Ellen Stanton who did the
transcript would have more detail. It took place in Cala/Elliot District.

Winifred Mary (their daughter) was born 19 Oct 1885 bapt 28 Apr 1886 at the
Methodist Church, Dordrecht. They were living at Papasa's Hoek, Cala at the
time. (This is from Nolene's transcript).

I have had an email from Kevin Baxter looking for his Baxter family in the
Eastern Cape, unfortunately not part of my Baxter family - James Baxter born
Edinburgh 1886 married Laura Jessamine Timm, lived in Clumber and
