Greetings All.

I am at a dead end on this. Family lore had it that Charles Collocott (my gg
grandfather) came to RSA(Eastern Cape) from Cornwall with 2 brothers, James
& Harold. I can find no record of their births, deaths or marriages or
children except my g grandfather Charles b 1 Jan 1852 d 8 Jul 1915. I have a
copy of his death cert & his parents are listed as Charles & Louisa ?. It
also gives the children's names including my grandfather Ernest as well as a
surviving spouse, Phoebe Tasmania, nee Curran. I cannot find any records for
Phoebe. King Williams Town became the home base for the family but the
Collocott Motors in Port Elizabeth was owned by a relative previously.
Any advice on how to access the cemetery records at KWT, PE, Grahamstown
most appreciated as well as any guidance from the many experts. ( I was born
in King but reside in Australia making it more difficult to physically
explore)
