STEAR. – HUMPHREY. The engagement is announced between Toni, eldest daughter of David and Yvonne HUMPHREY of Goring-by-the-Sea, England to Robert, youngest son of Bob and Natalie STEAR of Port Elizabeth.



DEATHS.

CUNNINGHAM. – Emmie Mary, mother of Jack, Bill and Norah, passed away at Port Alfred on June 5. Requiem Mass to be held in St James Church at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 7.

HARRISON. – Lionel Roy passed away on June 4. Husband of Grace and father of Marilyn, Doug and Sharon, oupa of Jason and Lauren. Remembered by Alan and Stella.

HOPKINS, - William Pratt, husband of Betty and father of Elaine and Rod and grandfather of Bridget and Duncan, passed away at the Provincial Hospital, Tuesday, June 4. Funeral notice later.

LAGERNEY. – P.J. (Bunny) passed away May 1. Missed by Tony and Margaret LAGERNEY, and Alan Marlene, Rolf, Myrna, Donald and Linda. Also Emile and Connie LAGERNEY and Gerald and Hester DIJKMAN.

BROWN. – Norman, late of Nazareth House, Waterkloof, Pretoria, formerly of Port Elizabeth, will leave the Catholic Church, Horwood Street, Edenvale, tomorrow, Friday, after a service commencing at 10.30 a.m. and proceed to the Edenvale Cemetery.

FERREIRA. – Roelofina passed away on June 5, at the age of 83 years. Service tomorrow, Friday, June 7, from the Dutch Reformed Church, 4th Avenue, Walmer, at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.

HOPKINS. – William Pratt, aged 74 years, passed away June 4. Service in St John’s Church, 8th Avenue, Walmer, today, Thursday, at 3.30 p.m. Cremation private

HUMAN. – Dick, passed away on June 1, 1985. Funeral service on Saturday, June 8, 1985, from the Old Apostolic Church, Bloemendal, thence to Paapenkuils Cemetery.

LAGERNAY. – P.J. (Bunny) aged 69 years passed away May 31. Service in Jones and Rice Chapel, York Road, on Friday, May 7, at 3.30 p.m. Cremation Private.
