Hell Jan and Des

Their are various documents in the Cape Archives which might tell you about
the "Clives" movements. The research for this will be long and hard.
The references are:
Archives of the Port Captain and Dock Superintendent, Table Bay - (PC)
Register of ships arrivals 1806 - 1913

Not much else for 1852 (that was a bad year to arrive - my 2 x great
grandfather also arrived in that year but no documentation has been found.

Do you have a passenger list for the CLIVE ?

thanks
Heather

Hi
I have some ancestors who left Capetown aboard the "Robert Clive" on
09Sep1852
for Australia. Is there any way I can find the previous movements of the
ship?
Regards
Des
