Hello Pauline
I suggest you search the National Archives of South Africa at
www.national.archives.gov.za and search for a death notice. You will then
however only be given a brief description and a reference which you will
need to get the death notice. Unfortunatly you will have to either write via
snail mail to the archive concerned (they do not answer to emails, or ask
someone nicely or you will have to pay someone to do it for you.
kind regards
Heather

Hi
I am hoping to trace descendents of Robert Hugh Henderson who was born
about
1863 in Armagh in Ireland. I believe he had a department store in
Johannesburg and late in life ( probably about 1920) became a South African
MP. He lived until he was about 98 - in the last half of his life he lived
in a property in the Gardens in Cape Town. In about 1896 my grandfather
Robert Moore McLoughlin (and Robert Hugh's nephew) joined him and lived
first
of all in Kimberley and later in Cape Town.
