OK then what names are you interested in and I will pull out Grandfathers
scrapbooks.

What he did as a profoundly religious young man living in Cape Town was cut
things out of the Wesleyan magazines over a period of years the ones he
stuck in are lost to us but the back of the ones he didn't stick in are an
amazing record of people doing things within the church - ministers -
families - weddings - obits etc.

Hello Dafanie,

Yes, the Methodist church was founded by John and Charles Wesley and some of
the records I have been searching say "Wesleyan Chapel". Over here in
America, it is not safe to say that the Wesleyan church is the same as the
Methodist church, because the Wesleyan church broke away from the Methodist
church in the past (over the slavery issue, I believe). But many people do
use the words interchangeably, even here.
