Dear Catherine

It is definitely Mc Loughlin which is a less usual spelling. I don't know of
any other family emigrating other than the Hendersons and Robert Moore
McLoughlin. Where does your family come from? The ones I am tracing are all
from Armagh County.

Actually its nice to hear from someone tracing McLaughlins never mind
McLoughlin - they seem to be thin on the ground.
