Hi Barbara
No HODGSON's in that time period in Cape Town (I must stress William de
Villiers only did Cape Town Diocese).

THere was a HODSON who was Dean of Grahamstown in the 1960's. My 1971
Clerical Directory has him as Rector of St Saviour's Claremont from 1964.
THe 1983 one has him retired. If this is your man let me know and I'll get
more stuff on him for you. I own a 1959 Crockfords too.
