Hi Heather I am just going to insert my email on here it seams there is a
problem on our addresses

Hi Heather
I got the Death notice of the son (Thomas Hart) and it stated that His
mother was Catherine Hart and father was Stephen Hart. The Johanna Hart
stated below was unmarried and died young according to her death notice her
parents were unknown.

Also I have know that Thomas was born +_ 1848 and so that year of Marriage
1847 at St Pauls in Rondebosch sound like it is the right year.

By the way Thomas died in 1930 and his wife Fanny Owen Hart nee Clark died
in 1924

So it looks to me that Stephen And Catherine must have died anywhere from
1890 to 1910 but on the cape Archives there is nothing.

So my question is there other material available(family trees) on the other
Hart streams?

What I want to know is,is there other people in the Cape Town area doing
Hart Genealogy Research?

Why I am asking is that there seams to be a link somewhere and so I am
wondering if I should just draw any Hart Death notice and then start to
piece together what I can even if they unrelated. For Example there was a
William George Hart who died in Kimberly also at age 22 and his father was
also Stephen and also unmarried. But on the family tree this individual does
not even exit. I get a sense that I am dealing with Urban Legends and
stories that have nothing to do with the truth.

The Lds Church here in Johburg has 35 film of death notices of the Cape up
until 1950.
So I have a research centre on my door step. And they have quite a
comprehensive records.

I already have 4 copies of the original death notice

I also have the names of Stephen and Catherine's Children
Stephen, Thomas James and Andrew

Any suggestions on what to do next will be of great help.

And thank you for you December 2002 news letter
Looking forward to the next letter
Regards
Rob hart

Thank you for Anegela's DN and will which Derek forwarded to me.

The photos were easily downloaded on Acrobat and made good prints.

Are you sure that Johanna is not the wife Edwin instead of Stephen ? as
there is no Stephen buried in this graveyard ?
