Hello Listers,

I am finding it very difficult to get an MOC. No for an LDS film,
from the lists in the smaller FHCs.
Where the MOC. No. is adjacent to the Film No.
in the Film list Index, obviously, there is no problem.

Further on in the Index book are lists of various regions with ONLY Film
No's,
but no MOC No's.

NOW, Johannesburg LDS will not release a film on loan
unless THE PERSON ordering the Film provides an MOC No.
e.g. The Film No. for Uitenhage NGK Parish Baptisms is:
2214267, no MOC No given,
How can I obtain an MOC No.for this Film, so that I can order it ?

Surely there must be a way.
(I went to JHB to order some copies of the Film that I had loaned from JHB,
I did not take the MOC NO with me,
and was told by the person assisting me, that that Film was not on record at
JHB LDS,
even though I had returned it a few months earlier ???

I hope that someone can answer me on this dilemma,
as the local FHC personnel also do not KNOW WHAT TO DO.
