I am trying to find a branch of my FRYER family that went from England
to South Africa in
late 1800 or early 1900s and is thought descendants are still living
there today.

Thomas Charles FRYER born 2 June 1875 at Oakham, Rutland - d 26
October 1950 in South Africa.

We know he had a son Aubrey as my grandmother FRYER used to write to him
during the
1950s.

THOMAS Charles FRYER was my grandfathers brother - from their father
Joseph FRYERs
second marriage - here are those children:

Gertrude Eliza Anne Fryer (Gerty) born 21 September 1872 at Oakham,
Rutland (Spinster)
Dau dii born 21 January 1874 at Hambleton, Rutland, England
Thomas Charles Fryer born 2 June 1875 at Oakham, Rutland-d 26 October
1950 in South Africa.
Elizabeth Mary Fryer (Mary) born 11 March 1877 at Oakham, Rutland
(Spinster)
John Fryer born 10 April 1878 at Oakham, Rutland - (My grandfather)
Joseph Fryer born 21 September 1879 at Oakham, Rutland (Bachelor )

If anyone can shed any light on this FRYER familys whereabouts today -
our large New
Zealand branch would love to have contact with our South African
cousins.
