3.Researching families in the Cape mid 1800 onwards.
PARISH, Thomas James born in England?? Possibly buried in Claremont
cemetery. His sons, Arthur, Alfred, John, George, Frederick and Thomas who
in his later years lived in Port Elizabeth. Regretfully this is about all I
have on this family.
POULTON, James Edwin born Rotherhithe London, 1885 lived In Kimberley awhile
before going to Northern Rhodesia (Zambia) to work on the mines.
Families connected by marriages in the district of Knysna Cape WAITES,
HUNTER and VAN ROOYEN.
