Hi Pat, we seem to be tied again. Your Isabella Cranswick was probably
sister to Mary Ann Allerston (nee Cranswick) who came out on the Henry
Tanner. I have quite a lot about those Cranswicks in Bridlington if you want
a follow up? the father was an ironmonger, married twice and the family is
huge.
And as for coincidence. There were two brothers who at the same time 1860s
came to NZ and settled in to farm here in Hawkes Bay where we live. I have
met and exchanged family info with descendents and one has retired to live
in the next street to me!
