Hello Jon, good to see you out there still researching RYALL/WEEDON.

As I recall we had some difficulty with William RYALL, and that I searched
the PMB register 15-07-1893 to 28-06-1896 without finding the birth.

According to Emily nee WEEDON's Death Notice, she and Alfred James RYALL
married in England, but it seems that the informant, her son-in-law R W
AULD, may have been incorrect in that assumption. European Immigration
volume 66 shows the arrival of the WEEDON family on the Conway Castle
22.1.1881, father A C, wife F,
and their eldest child E A (Emily Annie) whose age is given as 'over 12
years'. Since Alfred James RYALL arrived 1891 on the Pretoria, he and Emily
must have married in Natal between 1891 and 1893 (birth of William).
