Thanks very much for your wonderful transciptions - they make fascinating
reading besides the hatches, matches and dispatches. They are full of social
history.

But this one I thought was quite horrific

LUSUS NATURAE - which means "freak of nature"
A kid with eight legs to be seen at No.44 Bree-street for the small sum of

I wonder if anyone can elaborate or know anything about this phenomena -
shame poor child and people actually got away with charging money to see
