As Sue said, My Great Grandfather in NZ, his brother in Cape town,
My other Great grandfather in Australia, his 2 cousins and and 2 Uncles in
the USA are all covered by the "UK Medical Register 1859-1959," in Ancestry.
Some surgeons, some apothecaries but all kept their registration as the the
UK.

Hallo Delia

I'm not sure where he studied - still working on that :(  If I had to guess
it would have been in either South Africa or England.

How/where do I find the register you are talking about?

Warm regards
Sunelia Heath

Where did he train as a Dr?
My Gr Grandfather's brother Dr A Hayes was a Cape town Dr who studied in
Dublin therefore can be found in the British registered Drs. With his SA
address.
