In the book, "Familie Nel Van Nelspruit" by Hans Bornman, the Battle of
Bloedrivier is just mentioned as an occurence as this battle was not of
importance to this specific story of the "Nel Family" and because it is
described by "Vaal Lewies". On the other hand, they took part in the
Battle of Bloedrivier.
On page 12 of this book, the Great Trek is also merely just mentioned as
well, most probably for the same reason but the Battle of Italeni is
described much wider as well as that of Umvoti. For all members's sake, the
book's ISBN Nr. is 0 620 05989 3. Publishers are Promedia in Pretoria.
