Thanks a heap for all the look ups, now I am in a dilemma!! Which
one?? I know that John Kelly was still alive in 1903 because he gave
permission for his daughter to marry. (My grandparents) I have been
told that he was in the Kimberley directory(?) listed as a shoemaker in
1904. On John Kelly's marriage certificate, he only has one christian
name, so that narrows it down "5" !! Could I be so bold as to ask for
a search?? I am more than happy to reimburse you for the time and
cost. Could you also please tell me the significance of the numbers?
Do they relate in any way to death certificates, areas or what?? I am
not a very experienced rooter! I will watch this space! Kind regards
Erica van der Werff.
