Hi group

I am trying to make contact with any descendants of William SHILLING (b
31/8/1837 in East Dereham, Norfolk, UK) and Emily HODGES (b 20/1/1836 in
Aylesford, Kent, UK)

William & Emily arrived in South Africa cir 1858 and ended up in
Kimberley. William died 30/3/1892 and was listed as a Soda Water
Manufacturer on his death notice (Does anyone remember the old Shilling
coldrink bottles with the marble in the top?).

William & Emily had numerous children:

1)Emily b 1860 married James William SWEET they had:
Ester Emily Blanche b 10/4/1889 married Calder SPROAT

5)Fanny b cir 1871 married ? LISTER
6)Sidney Joseph b cir 1875 d 22/9/1879
7)James Augustus b 22/1/1882 in Kimberley married Mary Magdalena LUCAS
- this branch moved to New Zealand before 1910 and I have this tree
courtesy of Leonard Cecil SHILLING in New Zealand.
8)Helina HESTER (Eleanor) b 20/3/1885 married ? GLYNN
