Hello All,

this is my first message to the group! I'd like to know if anyone is
searching for this individual his descendants or ancestors....

John McLaren born 1873 in Emerald Hill, Victoria, Australia. Parents John
McLaren (occupation ship wright b. 1822 Kincardine, Scot.) and Harriet
Bullock (b.1837 Bath Somerset England).

John McLaren is said to have gone to South Africa and married and settled
there. That's all I have!

If you come across "my John" I'd be most grateful if you could contact me,
I have lots of family history to share and would like to exchange
information. Any suggestions on how to get started would also be most
helpful.
