Hi all you avid Listers out there!

I wonder whether anyone can tell me where I would be able to look at old
Daily Dispatch Newspapers for the 1880's - 1890's in the Johannesburg
area. I am looking for any notifications of passengers arriving on
ships from Scotland in East London - (my Leighton research)

I phoned the EL Museum and the librarian told me that she was sure there
were Micro Fiche's made of them?? - but she did not have any of her own.

I wonder whether there is someone in the EL are who would be prepared to
take an hour out of their week-end and go to the Cemetery for me to
record some inscriptions on four stones for me - I would reciprocate in
the Johannesburg area for any research in return for their kind help??
