Graham,
Thanks for your efforts. You might also look for Gerhardus Adolphus
Zacharias Snyman September 03, 1856-April 26, 1939 his brother that is
mentioned on page 9.
I will see if I can find something about Myrtle Dickason. I look forward to
hearing from you.
Regards
David Snyman

Hi David, I have a copy of Brian duToit's book, my interest lying in the
fact that Gen. Ben Viljoen married Myrtle Dickason. Our family comprised
some who decided to leave with Gen Viljoen & Snyman when they were allocated
land grants in New Mexico. Others went to Argentinean 1908 for the same
reason, while others remained at home so to speak. I have a collection of
Boer War memorabilia and will look up Snyman for you. Will come back to you
in a few days. Regards, Graham Dickason, Johannesburg.

<< File: ATT00000.htm >> I am researching Willem D Snyman 1858-October 26,
1916 married to Sarah Viljoen. In the book "Boer Settlers in the Southwest"
by Brian M Du Toit on Page 25 he is called Commandant WD Snyman and on Page
27 he is called General Snyman. In his death notice in the New York Times he
is called General. I am trying to find out if he truly was in a high
leadership position. Are there records that could be looked at that might
have more information about him and his family? If anyone can help it would
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
David Snyman
