Hi Michelle
I note that you have a Webb from Cornwall appended to your email. I have a
Commander Joseph Richard Ragget Webb born in Penzance in 1790 who won a
medal in battle with the French in approx 1820.In 1817 he married the Danish
Consulate in Algiers daughter and they had 4 children. 2 of them
were -daughters also married Danish men and lived in Copenhagen, and
inexplicably both died in their early 30's on the same day but 2 years
apart.
Meanwhile one of the sons born from this marriage died while supposedly a
member of one the early Niger expeditions.
Are our Webbs connected?
Regards
Bruce Watt
