I recently received a request for information on the HM Brig 'Emu' which
wrecked in Simons Bay, August 1816. Where would I find this? Also is anyone
researching the name 'Bissett'? Lieut. Alexander Bissett RN and his wife,
Alicia, are thought to have lived in South Africa about this time.
