I now have this on loan and am willing to do lookups.
The subtitle of the book is "A Historical,Educational and Industrial
Encyclopeadia and Social Directory of the Women of the Sub-continent" Hence
many Rhodesian names.
Most are married women but maiden names and father's names are included.
where born, educated, interests, addresses, children and in the case of
many unmarried women what their jobs are. It is VERY informative and has
wonderful portraits/photos of all.
should I strike gold for anyone I will be happy to laser photocopy the
portraits.
Cost here is $4.00NZ per A4 sheet. Postage would not be too excessive, up
to $10.00 as a guess. I would of course need your snail address
At a rough estimate there are some 950 names/portraits (or photos) So there
is no way I am going to send an index!!!
