I appreciated the following account and thought I would share it with
the group:

Early last centurY some of the survivors of the lifaqane resorted to
cannibalism. During this dreadful period. Rakotsoane, the chief of
Khatla lapsed into cannibalism and devoured Moshoeshoe's grandfather
Peete. Later when Rakotsoane appeared before Moshoeshoe and his
counsellors, the councillors were all for killing this cannibal.
Moeshoesoe replied that one does not destroy the tomb of one's ancestor.

What a man of wisdom, I though you might enjoy this one. Maybe some
authorities can learn some lessons.
