Municipal records are usually filed under Lot numbers/street addresses,
NOT occupiers or owners surname. With a bit of luck it shouldn't be too
difficult to find the local records for this property which will show
who owned it and when. If it was a rented property you might be
out of luck. Perhaps someone could approach the appropriate authority to
see what is on record.
