Hi Neville

Yes it seems to me that we are cousins. My Christina Susanna Rheeder was
born 1 October 1848 in Mosselbay and his son (according my data) was
born 21 August 1870 in Calitzdorp. Her parents was Jacob Salomon Rheeder
and her mother was Jacoba Catharina Grundling. That is all I know of them.
It will be nice if you can give my more information, because I still try to
link all my Rheeders. My maidename was Grundling and accordingly to my
information there is a lot Grundlings that married Rheeders. On my
Grundling side I already linked most of the family.

Regards
Salomé

Salome,
I think there is a connection between your ancestors and mine. My 2nd
g-grandmother was Christina Susanna RHEEDER. Her son Jacob Salmon Johannes
PRETORIUS was born in Calitzdorp.

1 Christina Susanna RHEEDER
+Coenraad Johannes PRETORIUS
2 Jacob Salmon Johannes PRETORIUS
b: Abt. Dec 1868 in Calitzdorp, South Africa
d: 23 Dec, 1918 in Bonnievale, district Swellendam, South Africa
+Johanna Maria Magdelena LERM d: 3 Dec, 1918

What do you think?
